Avenged Sevenfold is not expected to resume touring until 2020
The band Avenged Sevenfold is "very focused on new material" and is expected to return to the stage only in 2020.
News about the Californian band surfaced through presenter Lou Brutus . He spoke with guitarist Zacky Vengeance and asked about the group's plans. “I was texting Zacky Vengeance and asked about upcoming Avenged tours,” Lou wrote. “He told me, ‘I don’t think we’ll be touring this year. We have some new babies on the way and we’re very focused on new material. I can never be sure, but I think probably only in 2020. While I’m bummed about not touring, I’m very happy about the additions to the family and the eventual new music. Excelsior.’”
It's been almost a year since Avenged Sevenfold last performed. A blood blister on M. Shadows forced the band to cancel a tour with Prophets of Rage and Three Days Grace in 2018.
