Vocalist comments
Avenged Sevenfold announced that the production of their shows will be handled by the company behind Cirque du Soleil's shows. This company is famous for its large-scale productions and is the largest theatrical production company in the world.
The band's vocalist commented to Metal Hammer:
“The production that's being done is different for us, different from anything I've ever seen. The people we hired don't do tours, they do Cirque du Soleil.”
This is going to be a very different kind of tour; we're not going to do it for six months. It'll be two weeks on tour, two weeks off. It'll be a longer cycle, but we'll manage."
Regarding the innovative approach to launching the album and now, on tour, Shadows commented:
“We live in our own world and try to do things differently from other people. I don’t feel like we fit in. We do what feels right to us, and if that ends up changing the industry, that’s great.”
