The track was written by the late drummer Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan
guitarists Synyster Gates and Zacky Vengeance teamed up for an episode of the Breakdown series to reveal some secrets behind the song "Almost Easy".
The track was recorded for the band's self-titled album released in 2007 and was written by the late drummer Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan . "Almost Easy" is the band's only song that features all members singing in a choir-like effect.
In the video, the guitarists recall that the track was commissioned by director Michael Bay for the movie Transformers and joke about their inexperience at the time.
