The band plays on the same night as Iron Maiden
For the fourth time in their history, Avenged Sevenfold will be landing in Brazil. This time to play at Rock In Rio, on the same night as Iron Maiden.
Vocalist M. Shadows can't hide his satisfaction:
“I love Iron Maiden. We've toured with them a few times in Europe. We're one of those groups where each band has its own specific fanbase, but there are a lot of people who like both bands. Anyone who's passionate about metal likes this kind of sound. I can't wait to be part of this festival. Luckily for us, I know that Brazilian Iron Maiden fans like our music.”
The bands will perform on Metal Day at Rock In Rio, on September 22, 2013.
In addition to Iron Maiden and Avenged Sevenfold, Metallica and Alice In Chains are also confirmed to perform at the festival.
