After postponing their show in Buenos Aires, Argentina at the last minute , Avenged Sevenfold has cancelled all shows on their Latin American tour, including the shows in Brazil.
Through a reel on the official Instagram , M. Shadows himself announced that the reason for the cancellation was due to health problems with his throat. The vocalist commented that it is the same problem he had in 2017, which resulted in surgery because he didn't stop singing and didn't dedicate himself properly to treatment.
To prevent this from happening again, the band decided to cancel the continuation of the Life is But a Dream , with no return date set for now, although in the statement, the vocalist mentions January 2026 as a likely new date.
In Brazil, Avenged Sevenfold was scheduled to perform in Curitiba on October 2nd and in São Paulo on October 4th.
The production company 30e issued an official statement:
"The Avenged Sevenfold concerts, scheduled for October 2nd at Pedreira Paulo Leminski in Curitiba and October 4th at Allianz Parque in São Paulo, have been postponed due to health issues faced by a band member. The shows are expected to be rescheduled for early 2026."
All tickets already purchased for both locations are automatically valid for the new performances. More information regarding the new dates or refund policies will be available soon on the Eventim website and official channels.
