Avenged Sevenfold announced today the departure of their drummer Arin IIejay. Read the band's full statement:
“Hi everyone,
We’re writing to let you all know that we’re moving forward without Arin IIejay as our drummer. Arin has always been a positive energy and a monstrous drummer for us over the last 4 years. We love him and always will. We are and always will be grateful to him for supporting us and helping us keep going through some very dark times. However, we feel we need to move in a different creative direction. While we can’t say much more right now, we’re excited about the future and eager to share our plans with the best fans in the world soon. As always, we appreciate your understanding and unwavering support.
