In October 2017, Linkin Park organized a 3-hour concert in memory of vocalist Chester Bennington , who committed suicide in July of that year.
The event featured a number of guests and friends who took to the stage to honor Chester and sing Linkin Park's greatest hits over the years. One of the highlights was the participation of the members of Avenged Sevenfold , who played "Faint" from the album Meteora (2003) with the band.
Vocalist M. Shadows took the microphone to share vocals with Mike Shinoda and sing Bennington's verses, while Synyster Gates stayed on guitar and the two bands rocked the crowd. Relive the moment:
