AVATAR performs a perfectly insane ritual on new album 'Dance Devil Dance'

The ninth studio album becomes essential listening, synthesizing the band's vision.

Last Friday, the 17th, AVATAR released Dance Devil Dance invites metal fans to a ritual that is both macabre and cheerful, perfectly showcasing the Swedish band's mission to create a true "metal circus".

The 11 tracks that make up Dance Devil Dance journey through different atmospheres, always accompanied by the characteristic genius madness of AVATAR, from almost pop-palatable songs like "Wanna Dance Riot" and "The Dirt I'm Buried In" to the extremely heavy "Valley of Disease" and "Do You Feel In Control?".

The band describes the new album as the "culmination of the most intense artistic journey of our lives" and delivers a coherent result, making Dance Devil Dance the best possible introduction for new fans and essential listening for headbangers worldwide.

With so much time on the road, AVATAR has already won over a loyal fan base around the world, especially in Europe, where they started promoting Dance Devil Dance on stage last Saturday, the 18th, and in North America, where they are heading next.

Here in Brazil, it's time for rock and metal fans to get to know the band's work more deeply after AVATAR's debut on Brazilian stages as support for Iron Maiden's most recent tour here – and the new album is the perfect opportunity for that.

AVATAR consists of vocalist Johannes Eckerström , guitarists Jonas Jarlsby and Tim Öhrström , bassist Henrik Sandelin , and drummer John Alfredsson .

Released by Black Waltz Records and distributed by Thirty Tigers, Dance Devil Dance is available on all streaming platforms.
