Avatar is preparing for a new era with the album Hunter Gatherer , and has shared what we can expect from this new phase of the band with the track and video for "Silence In The Age Of Apes" .
The song's sound follows the band's thrashy style, accompanied by the characteristic vocals of singer Johannes Eckerström . According to the band, the song reflects on society's relationship with science and technology, and was inspired by the best-selling book Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari .
Avatar's new album will be their first since Avatar Country , and will be released on August 7th.
