AVATAR released this Friday, the 28th, the single “Dance Devil Dance”, which shares the name of the group's new album, scheduled for February 17, 2023. The new release came with an insane music video that you can watch at the end of this article.
Directed by Johan Carlèn , the bloody music video illustrates what fans can expect from the band's ninth album. The release follows "Valley of Disease," which was released in September of this year.
While preparing for the album's release, AVATAR toured with major heavy metal acts, including Iron Maiden during their Brazilian tour. The group also performed with Sabaton and at various festivals around the world.
AVATAR consists of vocalist Johannes Eckerström , guitarists Jonas Jarlsby and Tim Öhrström , bassist Henrik Sandelin , and drummer John Alfredsson . The vocalist spoke about the new album during a recent interview with Wikimetal and promised "the best album of their career".
