Avantasia , the project of Tobias Sammet , has just released its third music video, the track "Witch," from the new album Here Be Dragons , scheduled for release on February 28th via Napalm Records.
According to the band's official Instagram post, "Witch" will be their powerful new anthem, featuring vocals from Kamelot , Tommy Karevik , and cinematic, dark soundscapes that perfectly support the song's narrative.
According to Sammet, on his official Instagram:
“'The Witch' is a dark and enchanting song that carries many of the traditional characteristics of Avantasia and yet has a sinister and magical atmosphere that I believe is, in a way, new to the world of Avantasia, while fitting perfectly with the rest of the album.
Tobias continues: “Tommy Karevik from Kamelot did a wonderful job on this track, and I can’t wait to sing this song with him on our next tour. We’ll bring a large stage set to transform the environment into an ancient haunted castle, similar to the historic building where we filmed the impressive music video for the song.”
Finally, “This is a beautiful, powerful, grand, melodic song, full of amazing little details. I am extremely proud of the song and the entire album,” said Sammet.

Both Avantasia and Kamelot will be at the Bangers Open Air festival . Tickets for Bangers Open Air, which will take place on May 2nd, 3rd and 4th, 2025 in São Paulo, are still available on the Clube do Ingresso website .
