Avantasia has already announced that their new album, Here Be Dragons , will be available on February 28, 2025. Last Thursday, the 5th, the group released the first single from the album, the song "Creepshow," which came with a cinematic music video .
“ Creepshow is a perfect single. It’s short and catchy and emphasizes a facet of my work that has taken a backseat in my music in recent years,” says vocalist Tobias Sammet (via Roadie Crew ).
The artist also commented on the process of recording the music video. “We rented a haunted castle in the north of England and celebrated a night in the world of specters and undead creatures. This is the most vibrant and eccentric music video I've ever recorded in my entire career, not very serious, but certainly of serious quality.”.
The song is already guaranteed on the setlist for the band's future shows, especially the one that takes place during Bangers Open Air in São Paulo. Avantasia will perform at the festival, formerly known as Summer Breeze , held at the Memorial da América Latina on May 4th, alongside other big names in metal.
