The play will premiere on March 6th
Australian production company Sound Chaser Productions announced today the staging of the musical “The Legend Of Dio – A Metal Musical”, a play that tells the life story of Ronnie James Dio .
The musical will be a comedy, and will feature compositions by Black Sabbath, Rainbow and Dio. “The Legend Of Dio” will premiere on March 6th at the Corner Hotel in Victoria, Australia.
The play will feature Barbariön vocalist Myles Tauchert as Satan, William James Smith of HMAS Vendetta as Dio, and Kat Stargazer of the band Horizons Edge as Wendy, Dio's wife. Tickets for the first performance are already on pre-sale.
