Local authorities release announcement
Local authorities in Canberra, the capital of Australia, announced today that a street in the Moncrieff neighborhood will be named after Bon Scott, the late lead singer of AC/DC .
The announcement was made in an official statement from the Australian Capital Territory Planning Minister, Mick Gentleman: “In Moncrieff, new residents will soon live on a street named in honor of AC/DC frontman Bon Scott, who tragically died at the age of 33.”
Bon Scott was found dead inside a car in 1980, after excessive alcohol consumption.
