The band Auro Control , has released their debut album , The Harp , which features some great special guests.
The project features Aquiles Priester, Jeff Scott Soto, Felipe Andreoli (bass, Angra ), Fábio Laguna (keyboards, Edu Falaschi ), Thiago Bianchi (vocals, Noturnall ), as well as the incredibly talented Aiace (vocals) and André Magalhães (percussion), and a choir formed by singers from the Bahian metal scene: Roberto Índio ( Eigenflame ), Leonardo Leão ( Drearylands , Lugubra ), Petrus Bandeira ( Canal Zero , Solo), Mari Cedraz ( Imagin'Era ), Andrea Alves , Nathalia Martins, Mai Saraiva , Rafa Chemmés .
According to a press release, the album addresses themes ranging from grief and depression, through subjective topics, to overcoming adversity. The work was produced, mixed, and mastered by Thiago Bianchi.
Speaking about the release, the band's vocalist and founder, Lucas de Ouro , commented: “I'm very satisfied with the result of our debut album! The songs have a little bit of everything we like and showcase our band and influences well. It was incredible to be able to count on so many admirable friends and musicians on this journey. We are happy with the good reception of the singles, with the feedback from the record labels, and excited about the plans for the future.”
Auro Control
Auro Control is a progressive/power metal band from Bahia, founded in 2021 and led by vocalist Lucas de Ouro, accompanied by bassist Thiago “Bonga” Baumgarten ( Hibria ), guitarists Lucas Barnery (Solo) and Diego Pires ( Warlord , Beyond Frequencies ), and drummer Davi Britto ( Nomin , Dream Theater Cover) . The band's name refers to "Auro" (gold, in Latin) and alludes to "Out of Control".
