August Burns Red has released the single “Bones,” from their upcoming album Guardians, scheduled for release on April 3rd by Fearless Records. The track follows their first single, “Defender,” which was released in February.

With “Bones”, the group shows a heavier , faster side of metal than we are used to hearing from them, but, of course, still with their metalcore . Vocalist Jake Luhrs had warned fans, before the singles were released, that Guardians would be different.

He explained that on this album, the band pushed the boundaries of songwriting, leading them to create something "easier for fans to understand the message of the lyrics." It seems Guardians will be a pleasant surprise, but until then, check out the second single, "Bones," below.
