At The Gates released the single “The Paradox” this Friday, the 28th, which will be part of the album The Nightmare of Being , scheduled to arrive on July 2nd via Century Media.
The song follows “Spectre of Extinction,” which was recently released. The new release came with a music video that you can watch below.
“Humanity is the greatest paradox that exists,” said frontman Tomas Lindberg in a press statement explaining the concept behind the song. “We as humans seek justifications for big things like death, the meaning of life, etc. Our knowledge of being mortal distances us from what makes us human, therein lies the paradox.”
