The band already has a new vocalist
Asking Alexandria vocalist Danny Worsnop announced his departure from the band today. The news comes two days after his side project, We Are Harlot, announced the release of their debut album.
Worsnop announced the news via Twitter, and the band posted a statement on their official Facebook page saying they already have a new vocalist, yet to be revealed. Check out excerpts from the statements below:
Danny Worsnop:
“To my friends and fans: I want you to know that Asking Alexandria and I are parting ways. Over the past few years we have created some very special things. As in the beginning, I want what’s best for the band, and currently that doesn’t include me. Asking Alexandria will continue touring and recording their next album. I will always support and love the band and can’t wait to see what the future holds for them. I’m excited for the next chapter of my life with We Are Harlot and hope to see you all on the road!”
Asking Alexandria:
“Like in every family, there are ups and downs. There are good times and hard times. We are asking for your help during this difficult time. We will not slow down, we will record the best album of our career and we will go on tour with our new vocalist.”
