Asking Alexandria released their new single “Psycho” and the unreleased song “Bad Blood” this Friday, the 16th.
Both tracks are part of the band's upcoming album, Where Do We Go From Here?, and arrive a month after the first single "Dark Void ," which shows the group returning to their metalcore roots.
Regarding "Psycho," guitarist Ben Bruce comments: "'Psycho' is one of those songs that talks about when you feel trapped inside your own head, trapped by your own vices and your own downfalls."
“Whether it’s being in a relationship that’s not right for you, or feeling like you can’t stop drinking or using drugs, or maybe you’re stuck in a job you hate, and you’re just struggling with yourself thinking, ‘Why am I still here? Why do I keep doing these things?’ Ultimately, at the end of the day, we all feel a little crazy… a little psychotic,” she concludes.
Asking Alexandria's new album is expected to be released during the Southern Hemisphere spring, although an exact date has not yet been set. It is the successor to See What's On The Inside (2021).
