The video was filmed during the band's trip in March of this year

Asking Alexandria shared a clip for the acoustic version of “Someone, Somewhere” that documents a trip the band took to Okinawa, Japan to perform for American soldiers fighting at bases stationed there.

The video was released last Monday, May 28th, the day the United States celebrates Memorial Day, a national holiday honoring military personnel who died in combat.

“We hope our friends, family, and fans around the world will join us in thanking these incredible men and women who dedicate their lives to keeping us safe. This is for you. Thank you,” the band said when releasing the video.

Last week, Asking Alexandria released another music video, this time for the single "Alone in a Room" from the band's self-titled album released in December 2017 by Sumerian Records.

The group will return to the stage in June to perform at the Download Festival in the United Kingdom.
