Asking Alexandria 's lead singer , Danny Worsnop , delivered a beautiful rendition of Amy Winehouse as part of his series of covers during quarantine.
Upon releasing the cover, Worsnop wrote, “I wanted to take some time to pay homage to some of the music and artists I love and who inspire me, and Amy Winehouse is one of those who does that the most. The soul and transparency in her music has always been something that appealed to me, and it was a wonderful day spent remaking and reinventing one of her greatest works with my own touch.”
“Amy, you were a true artist in the purest sense of the word. We were moved by your passion and your uniqueness. Your music will always hold a place in our hearts,” the singer concluded.
