Canadian band Ascendia is releasing their new single “Band Tee”. The track explores themes of love and loss through a narrative where the main character reminisces about going to all their favorite concerts with their loved one.
Ascendia is formed by brothers John (guitar) and Billy Love (drums) and vocalist and childhood friend, Sakal . The dynamic between the brothers and their differences help create songs that combine Billy's high energy with John's passion and introspection.
Their sound is defined by a combination of everything the musicians learned from contemporary commercial rock and elements of country and pop that they liked and that made sense. Initially, the band was compared to the work of Linkin Park and Nothing More .
