Artificial intelligence 'bot' writes Nirvana songs based on the band's lyrics

"If Kurt Cobain could see this, he would be dying of laughter."

In a short time, Nirvana gave the world some of the greatest classics in music. And surely we sometimes find ourselves daydreaming about the great songs that would have emerged if Kurt Cobain were still alive.

That's what YouTuber Funk Turkey was thinking when he chose the band ( Metallica and AC/DC were some of the bands used previously) for his artificial intelligence project, which aims to create a new song based on the group's compositions. The experiment resulted in the track "Smother".

“Using lyrics.rip Genius composition database , I made a Markov Chain write Nirvana lyrics,” said Turkey. In the comments, fans are amused by the randomness of the lyrics, and one even ventures to say that, “If Kurt Cobain could see this, he would be dying of laughter.”
