Actor and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and the Canadian band Nickelback had a brief Twitter spat over a political tweet.

Schwarzenegger made a post criticizing the distribution of electoral districts, something the politician sought to reform. Along with a video discussing the popularity of Congress, Schwarzenegger wrote: “When Congress is less popular than herpes and Nickelback, how come 97% of them get re-elected? Manipulation.”

And the band didn't let it go, retorting with a jab at the movie Batman & Robin, in which the actor played the character Mr. Freeze: "@Schwarzenegger, great fans. Look at the approval rating of Batman & Robin. Please leave us out of your next pearls of wisdom .

In his response, Schwarzenegger was respectful and made references to his own role in the film: “That was… Cold as ice. I think we can agree that we need to freeze the manipulation, guys. Thanks for the response .” And Nickelback finally replied: “Well said, Mr. #Respect.”
