Armored Saint released “Lone Wolf” as the new single from their album Punching The Sky , released in October 2020, the band's first in five years.
In the music video directed by Robert Graves , vocalist John Bush exemplifies the behavior of so-called lone wolves during a robbery: untrustworthy in moments of desperation, they only think of their own benefit and do not risk their lives for others.
“We decided to keep the story simple and allow the tone of the video to help convey the meaning of the song. This gave us the opportunity to create an aesthetic that intensified the mood of the song, while also getting some incredible action scenes to tell the story,” commented the director (via Blabbermouth ). “Needless to say, Armored Saint fans will dive right in [to the narrative]. I think they’ll love it!”
