The band Armored Dawn is preparing a new world tour, and the Brazilian leg will be special: Armored Dawn Invites .
The collaboration, which is expected to visit at least eight Brazilian cities in 2020, will be a step forward for the rock and metal scene. Uniting established styles and names on the same stage, each event will provide fans with a complete experience at an affordable price.
This first season features bands that, in some way, have a connection to Armored Dawn's journey so far, and a different lineup will be announced for each show.
Committed to bringing rock and metal events to more stages and cities across Brazil, Armored Dawn grows with each step, contributing to the music scene they belong to. Therefore, in addition to established bands, newer bands like Medjay will have the opportunity to showcase their work to a large audience during this tour.
Formed in 2014 in the city of São Paulo, Armored Dawn is one of the biggest revelations of Brazilian power metal in the last decade, and to promote their releases, they have already been on many tours, both in Brazil and around the world, and have performed alongside big names in world metal, including Saxon, Megadeth, Symphony X, Rhapsody, Hammerfall, Tarja, Sabaton and Fates Warning .
The band's latest work, the acclaimed album Viking Zombie , recorded at Dharma Studios in São Paulo, was produced, mixed and mastered by Heros Trench (bass) and Rodrigo Oliveira (drums), who are part of the band's lineup, which also includes Eduardo Parras (vocals), Tiago de Moura (guitar), Rafael Agostino (keyboards) and the Finnish Timo Kaarkoski (guitar).
This concept album broke through market barriers and raised the bar for national productions in the opinion of many critics, which made the band believe even more in the Brazilian music scene.
