Armored Dawn has released their third studio album, Viking Zombie .
The songs tell the story of a Norse warrior prevented from dying by the gods and unable to reach Valhalla, the glory granted to warriors who die honorably in battle. The songs also tell the story of Bálder and Sygrid, a couple of relentless warriors united by love until death.
Recorded at Dharma Studios in São Paulo, Viking Zombie was produced, mixed, and mastered by the band's drummer, Rodrigo Oliveira , and by Heros Trench , guitarist of the band Korzus , a big name in Brazilian metal, who recently joined Armored Dawn as bassist.
Keyboardist Rafael Agostino , guitarists Tiago de Moura and Timo Kaarkosky , and vocalist Eduardo Parras complete the band, which explores Viking themes in its lyrics and heavy melodies.
