The third edition of the festival was scheduled to take place in May of this year

Armageddon Metal Fest festival has been postponed to 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event in Santa Catarina was scheduled for the first half of this year, but will now take place a year later than planned.

At the end of 2020, the festival announced a new date and location . The third edition was scheduled for May 29, 2021, at Joinville Square Garden, but now it remains without a set date. According to the event's press office, the decision was motivated by tension in light of "the new biosecurity measures suggested to contain the spread of the new coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic in the State of Santa Catarina and the constant uncertainty at the international level."

Armageddon Metal Fest has now been rescheduled for April 23, 2022. Tickets already purchased for any of the previous dates will be valid for the new date and no exchange will be necessary.

The program is expected to feature 21 bands, divided among three stages, with 14 uninterrupted hours of activities and entertainment without conflicting performance times. The event's lineup included names such as Venom Inc, The Agonist, Nasty Savage, Climatic Terra, Vulcano, and Mutilator . The production team announced that they are already in contact with national and international artists and intend to announce news about the attractions later this year.
