The Armageddon Metal Fest , a heavy metal that was scheduled to take place on May 30th in Joinville, has been postponed to May 2021 due to the coronavirus . However, this did not prevent the organizers from acting like rock stars .
The festival announced the launch of a campaign, named Armageddon For Help , to assist needy families, as well as entertainment industry employees affected by the spread of the coronavirus. The fundraising goal is R$2,000, of which R$1,000 will be donated by the festival organization itself.
“Since our market began to collapse due to this global crisis, we realized that many professionals would have their families' livelihoods compromised. The vast majority work as freelancers and have no other source of income. We were moved by the situation and this encouraged us to unite in support of those in need in all areas,” declared Lucas Scaravelli , one of the producers of Armageddon.
Wikimetal congratulates Armageddon Metal Fest for using its platform to help those in need during this difficult time for everyone.
