Armageddon Metal Fest , a traditional festival on the Brazilian Metal calendar, announces more big names for the 2023 edition. The bands Abbath and Dorsal Atlântica have been confirmed by the production team for the event, which will take place on November 18th (Saturday) at Bless (Rua Monsenhor Gercino, 60) in Joinville, Santa Catarina. Previously, Angra had been announced as one of the headliners.
Immortal member Abbath and the experienced Rio de Janeiro band Dorsal Atlântica, the lineup has confirmed a number of top-tier Brazilian metal bands. Among the announced names are the traditional Amen Corner , Desalmado , Surra , Paradise in Flames , Pagan Heart , Finita and Panaceia . Other acts will be announced soon.
In their setlist, Abbath will perform songs from his most recent album, Dread Reaver , as well as tracks from his other two albums: Outstrider and Abbath . Dorsal Atlântica will present songs from their most recent albums, in addition to a set of classics straight from the 1980s. Angra, a Brazilian power metal band formed in 1991, returns to the city with a show as part of the tour for their 10th studio album, the highly anticipated Cycles of Pain .
