Aria DiMezzo, a transgender satanic metalhead, wins the Republican nomination in the US primary

The US elections are in full swing, and news like Aria DiMezzo , a transgender, metalhead, satanic, and anarchist politician, winning a Republican nomination in a primary for Sheriff of Keene County, New Hampshire, only reinforced that.

“I went into this expecting that I was going to lose the primaries to some candidate because I didn’t think that many voters would just be… completely and utterly obvious about who they’re voting for,” Aria stated in a blog , surprised by the 4,211 votes she received.

Dimezzo is a Libertarian running as a Republican, strategically, to garner more votes against Democrat Eli Rivera , who is seeking her fifth term.

This is the second time she's running for Sheriff of the Municipality; however, in 2018, using her former male identity, she changed her name to run. Now, Aria, who is a Priestess of the Reformed Satanic Church , an anarchist, and a member of the metal band FUD , will use the song "The Heart from Your Hate" by Trivium as her campaign song alongside her slogan "F*** the Police" to, according to her, finally win as Sheriff.
