The band fired the lead singer via Facebook.
Vocalist Paul Di'Anno learned via Facebook, in a post published by his band Architects of Chaoz, about the musicians' plan to continue without him.
In a post published yesterday, Architects of Chaos stated, “This is perhaps the hardest thing for us, but we have to say it (however painful it may be), for his health and dignity, Paul is no longer part of the band! With the second album already written, we want to go into the studio in October, which is impossible with Paul!”
The vocalist, whose health has been particularly fragile in recent months, also responded to the band with a post on Facebook: “I just received a message from those who claim to be my bandmates, who have decided to continue without me. However, I will not allow them to use the name Architects of Chaoz. I hope that my AOC will debut next year with new members and an even heavier sound and energy. I have my brothers in Brazil in mind. Goodbye, traitors!”
The health of the former Iron Maiden vocalist generated rumors in early July that he was suffering from cancer, but Di'Anno refuted the rumors, saying he had undergone surgery to remove a lung abscess. In May, Di'Anno even canceled his tour in Brazil because he was hospitalized.
