Arch Enemy , the veterans of extreme metal, are back with a new single, released ahead of their UK and European tour. The track was accompanied by a video directed by Patric Ullaeus , which you can check out at the end of this article.
The new track “Dream Stealer” marks the first release since their last album Deceivers , in 2022. Michael Amott , guitarist and founder of the band, expressed his satisfaction (via Consequence ): “It’s the first new Arch Enemy music we’ve released in a while and it’s good to be back! It was amazing working on 'Dream Stealer' in the studio.”
Amott also sent a message to the audience: “This song has the high energy and distorted atmosphere that makes it so much fun to play! Turn it up loud and heavy! Metal is immortal!”
Arch Enemy
Arch Enemy was formed in 1995 by Michael Amott, who gained prominence over the years. The Swedish band presents a more melodic death metal style. Also noteworthy is the vocalist Alissa White-Gluz , who joined the band in 2012, adding a heavier yet melodic element to the group's sound.
