Arch Enemy released their 11th studio album, Deceivers, . This marks their first album since Will to Power, released in 2017.
Speaking about the project, guitarist Michael Amott commented: “Without a doubt, it’s always a challenge to raise the bar each time, both in songwriting and production, and it can seem a little daunting before we get into it, but once we start and fully immerse ourselves in the creative process, it’s like nothing else in the world exists and we’re very focused.”
“Creating Deceivers was no different; once again, we disconnected from the outside world and delved deep into the artistic zone. I believe we came up with some really interesting musical and lyrical themes this time, some things might even raise an eyebrow or two – while maintaining all the elements with the band's signature. In the end, it's Arch Enemy at full speed and power!”
