Arch Enemy announces Lauren Heart as new vocalist and releases single

The band will perform on April 25th at Bangers Open Air 2026

Arch Enemy announced their new vocalist, Lauren Hart, with the release of "To The Last Breath," the first song featuring the new lineup.

In recent days, the band has been fueling fans' curiosity with cryptic messages and teasers on their social media , hinting at new things coming in 2026. In a statement, guitarist Michael Amott said: “Just when you think it’s over, a new beginning emerges. Now it’s time to enjoy it with us – until our last breath!”

The band also announced a European tour, titled Back to the Root of All Evil , starting in July.

Lauren Hart gained international prominence as the frontwoman of the American band Once Human , where she stood out for her intense vocals and striking stage presence, receiving critical and public acclaim. Her arrival represents a new phase for Arch Enemy, which remains one of the leading names in world metal since its founding in 1995 by Michael Amott .

In November, the Swedish band announced the departure of Alissa White-Gluz , who had been the lead vocalist since 2014. Previously, rumors pointed to Angela Gossow , vocalist between 2000 and 2013, and Mayara Puertas , from Torture Squad , as replacements. However, both artists denied the rumors.

Arch Enemy will headline  Bangers Open Air 2026 , performing on Saturday, April 25th. According to the festival, the band is "one of the most requested names in all editions".
