Arch Enemy announces the departure of vocalist Alissa White-Gluz.

The vocalist had been part of the band since 2014, when she replaced Angela Gossow.

Arch Enemy announced this Sunday, the 23rd, the departure of Alissa White-Gluz , the vocalist who had been in the band since 2014.

Through a statement on social media , the band said:

“Arch Enemy has parted ways with singer Alissa White-Gluz. We are grateful for her time in the band and for the music we shared. We wish her all the best. Where there is an end, there is also a new beginning. See you in 2026.”

Alissa White-Gluz also left a statement on her social media, thanking the public and announcing that she is working on new projects and intends to reveal her next steps in 2026.

“I am eternally grateful to the thousands of incredible fans I have met along the way. Thank you, Beastlings! I can’t wait to share what I’ve been up to, with big surprises in store. Stay tuned for big news in 2026 and see you very soon,” Alissa posted.

Alissa White-Gluz began her career in The Agonist , a Canadian band she helped found in 2004 and with which she released three albums, standing out for her guttural vocal technique combined with clean passages, something still uncommon among female metal frontwomen at the time. In 2014, after years of internal conflicts and conflicting schedules, Alissa left the band to join Arch Enemy, replacing Angela Gossow . Her debut album, War Eternal, marked a new phase for the Swedish group.

Currently, Arch Enemy is promoting the album Blood Dynasty , released in March 2025.
