Bassist talks about chances of reunion
In an interview with Gazette.net, Slayer bassist and vocalist Tom Araya spoke about the possibilities of a new tour for the "Big Four" – Metallica , Megadeth , Slayer , and Anthrax . According to him, "The internal politics of a particular band is what prevents the reunion."
For Araya, a new Big Four tour is unlikely: “I think it might not happen anymore. They can prove me wrong.”
The bassist concluded by saying that the tour only happened because of Metallica: “Although it was the 'Big Four', it was Metallica that made everything possible. It was through Metallica that we were able to accomplish everything. If they want to continue and do more shows, I think that would be great. If we were to sit down and talk to them, that's what I would say .
