Aquiles Priester assembled a supergroup with Theo Vieira (vocals – About2Crash), Junior Carelli (keyboards – ANIE, ex-Noturnall), Vanessa Lockhart (vocals), João Pedro Castro (bass), and Jéssica Falchi (guitars) during the pandemic to bring to life the collaborations the drummer made during that period. Now, he brings yet another surprise.

Released via TVMaldita , the drummer's channel, Hangar have been revamped. "Based on a True History" and "Time to Forget" get new versions and have been merged into a single music video directed by Léo Liberti , who has previously worked with Megadeth , Angra , Dee Snider, and Viper .

The video, which you can watch below, was filmed at the Hasbaya Mansion in São Paulo. The documentary for this music video was directed by Dani Mazza, who has previously worked with Edu Falaschi and Noturnall , and will be released soon.

To celebrate the collaborations with TVMaldita , Aquiles Priester's band has scheduled a tour throughout Brazil with a brand new repertoire and many surprises for fans – see the schedule below.

The idea for the music video came from Theo Vieira, one of the composers of “Based on a True History” and “Time to Forget,” alongside Aquiles Priester. The two previously worked together in About2Crash, where they performed at Rock in Rio. “These songs are very special to me, as they bring back incredible memories from the songwriting phase and the Hangar shows. Being with this amazing team and alongside my friend Aquiles Priester on this project has been a very rewarding experience,” said Theo.

Speaking about the new project, Aquiles commented: “It was supposed to be a normal collaboration like all the others, but to celebrate the milestone of almost 40 years that I reached during this pandemic, we did something very special to end on a high note. The time has come to take this project on the road.”
