Aquiles Priester represented Brazil in the Drum Together initiative , spearheaded by names like Ringo Starr and Nicko McBrain , for a campaign against hunger with a cover of "Come Together," a classic by The Beatles .

The project was organized by the WhyHunger , which focuses on finding ways to end world hunger by offering "critical resources to support grassroots movements and encourage community-based solutions grounded in social, environmental, racial, and economic justice."

One hundred drummers were invited, with the goal of bringing together the world's greatest drummers on a single song for a great cause. Some of the names chosen for the cover were Chad Smith, Matt Cameron, Stewart Copeland , and the 11-year-old drumming prodigy, Nandi Bushell .

“When Dom Famularo told me about the project, I accepted immediately. For those who work with music and video, you can imagine the amount of work this generated. The result was incredible, and I feel honored to participate because the cause is very noble. The drumming community surprised us once again,” Priester commented on the opportunity. “It’s really cool to see more than 100 drummers and instrumentalists coming together to help others. The best part of all this is that it’s without distinction of styles, and we’re all together for the same reason. This is simply surreal!”

“We can all agree that no child should go hungry and that everyone should have access to nutritious food. This is a great cause that I have supported in the past and a great track – one of my favorite Beatles songs,” Ringo Starr said in a statement about the project.
