The actor revealed that Black Sabbath also helped him create the character.

Jason Momoa , the actor who plays Aquaman , revealed himself to be a fan of heavy metal and confessed to drawing inspiration from bands like Metallica and Tool to bring the character to life.

“Aquaman is very metal. I know nobody thinks that, but he is metal. I kind of build my characters with metal music. Conan (The Barbarian) was [inspired by] a Pantera , I'd say Aquaman was probably made from Tool and Metallica's album, Kill 'Em All . 'Ticks And Leeches' [by Tool], if I want to be more specific. There's a lot of [ Black ] Sabbath in there too.”
