Apocalyptica's collaboration with Frank Perez and Geezer Butler on "I'll Get Through It" has resulted in a dramatic music video set in otherworldly environments.
Without any images of the Black Sabbath bassist in the video, the band performs in another dimension when talking about the certainty of overcoming difficult times, even if the healing process takes a lifetime.
The lyrics for the new song were written by singer-songwriter Diane Warren and came about during a visit Geezer and Franky made to her. “She played this song for us and said she thought it would work well with Franky’s voice. He tried it right then and there and we loved it. Franky suggested we send it to Apocalyptica and they loved it. The rest is history,” Butler recounts (via Blabbermouth).
