The Apocalypse Bluse Revival , a "new version" of The Apocalypse Blues Revue by Shannon Larkin and Tony Rombola of Godsmack , has announced its new self-titled album, arriving on December 11th, and has released a new single, "Optimystic," which comes with a music video.
“The song ‘Optimystic’ was created by Tony and me about six years ago,” says Larkin. “Honestly, [the song] was so stylistically different from Godsmack or The Apocalypse Blues Revue at the time that it just sat on the shelf.”
“As soon as we brought [singer] Shane Hall into the band, I wrote lyrics that incorporated the music into the concept I was already dreaming of for the full album,” reflects Larkin, “ Marco Palo played saxophone with passion and the rhythm is super smooth. Most of my friends call this their favorite track from the new record.”
The band's new album will be their first since The Shape of Blues To Come , and is now available for pre-order .
