Anthrax will enter the studio next week to resume recording their new album.
Drummer Charlie Benante posted on social media about the band's show in Lima, Peru, which took place last Saturday, the 29th, and gave updates on the production of the new album:
"I've been hearing a lot of questions: 'When will the new album be released?' We won't release a new album until Tower Records is back in business, fuck this streaming bullshit!"
Just kidding – we're going back to recording next week. We threw out a bunch of old songs and made some new ones that blow the older ones out of the water. I know it's been a while and you've been very patient… it's still in the oven and baking.”.
The successor to 2016's For All Kings promises to bring " great songs " and will have a " more aggressive production ." According to Bello, the album will have intensified heaviness .
