Anthrax: New album will be more aggressive

This will be Anthrax's 12th studio album

In an interview with Metal Rules Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante said that the band is working on a follow-up album to For All Kings , released in 2016.

“This album we’re working on now, [the songs] are a bit more aggressive and furious, simply because the climate we’re all living in is reflected in our music. When I come up with something, I have hopes and dreams that the music will be as good as I hear it in my mind.”

Benante recently revealed that he has "about seven or eight ideas" for Anthrax's 12th album.

"Another goal of mine will probably be to have 20 songs to choose from, like with the last album. I just want to have as many as possible so we can say, 'This is great.'"

Anthrax is currently touring with Slayer .
