Anthrax presented the world and its fans with a release they certainly need right now… new music? No: alcohol!
The band has teamed up again with Hillrock Estates (the group was with the company earlier this year to release the bourbon The Healer) to release Evil Twin I , which is already on sale, and Evil Twin II , which will be released soon, the band's new Double Cask Ryes .
“All eight [sample barrels] were different from each other, as each barrel expresses itself differently,” explained vocalist Scott Ian , “And I chose my two favorites. The barrel that became Evil Twin I had espresso, caramel, vanilla, and spices – the barrel that became Evil Twin II had notes of maple, cinnamon, clove, and black pepper that went very well together – both barrels were delicious, so we decided to do both! I would put these ryes up against any rye on the market. The care and attention that went into both, every step of the way, from field to glass, from harvesting the farm-grown rye to distillation, to the beautiful bottles and labels, each one was made with the highest levels of perfection.”
