The DVD was recorded in February 2017
Anthrax has released the first trailer for Kings Among Scotland , a live DVD that will be released on April 27th by Megaforce in the US and Nuclear Blast in other countries.
The performance was recorded on February 15, 2017, when the band played at the historic Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow, Scotland. The two-hour DVD features the entire show with interviews, backstage footage, and other off-stage material.
“Playing for our friends from the Barrowlands has always been very special ,” said bassist Frank Bello, “We know we’ll always meet up and have great times together, and we think that incredible interaction and energy really comes through in this video.”
The DVD will come in two parts: in the first, the band will play songs chosen by fans, including "Madhouse," "Be All, End All," and "Breathing Lightning." In the second part, Anthrax will play their classic album Among The Living (1987).
Kings Among Scotland was produced, directed, filmed and edited by Paul M. Green's Film24Productions and will also be released in special editions on CD and vinyl.
