In an interview with the Italian magazine Rock Rebel Magazine, Anthrax bassist Frank Bello was asked if Anthrax would release an album in collaboration with pop vocalist Lady Gaga. Bello replied:
“Lady Gaga is a friend of ours. She’s amazing. We love her, but she just did the Grammys with Metallica. She’s a metalhead, which I love, she’s awesome and we’d love to work with her. But honestly, she doesn’t have much time, she’s super busy. And we want to see her well. She’s metal and we love her for that. Of course, we’d love to do that, but there’s nothing planned in that regard.”
