The drink will be launched in March
Anthrax announced this week a beer themed after the band, named Wardance. The new beverage is made in partnership with New York's Butternuts Beer & Ale Brewery.
Scott Ian commented on the launch: “I always wanted to make our own beer, it was just a matter of finding the right guy to make it happen. I’m a fan of Butternuts, especially the Porkslap Pale Ale, and when I heard that Chuck [Williamson, owner of Butternuts] was interested in making one with us, I said yes immediately.”
Wardance will launch in New York on March 27th and may be distributed to other US states in the future.
