Anneke Giersbergen and Marko Hietala performed four shows in Brazil as part of their tour, Six Strings and a Voice – An Evening With Anneke Van Giersbergen and Marko Hietala . The duo will also be performing in Chile, Argentina, Colombia, and Ecuador.

Anneke Van Giersbergen is a multi-instrumentalist who became famous as the vocalist of the band The Gathering . After leaving the band in 2007, she spearheaded several projects such as Água de Annique and VUUR . Currently, the singer is promoting her latest solo album, The Darkest Skies Are The Brightest, released in 2021.
Meanwhile, Marko Hietala made history as the vocalist and bassist for one of Finland's biggest and most popular heavy metal bands for 20 years – Nightwish . The musician, who recently announced his return to the music scene by releasing a lyric video for the track "Dead God's Son," has stated that he is working on a new studio album. "Dead God's Son," taken from his last studio album, Pyre of the Black Heart , had its music video filmed during his recent festival tour in Finland.
