Ann Wilson , lead singer of Heart , recently released a live EP with her solo band, The Amazing Dawgs . Titled Howlen Live , the project contains four tracks and features Tom Bukovac on guitar, Tony Lucido on bass, Paul Moak on rhythm guitar and keyboards, and Sean Lane on drums.

Regarding the decision to release the EP, Ann Wilson explained: “When we finished a leg of the tour in June, it became clear to me that we had created some real magic on stage, so I decided to release some of those performances on an EP called Howlen Live . Please enjoy this little taste! There’s much more where that came from.”

The project includes audio from the tracks “Crazy On You” and “Black Wing,” taken from the Orlando performance on June 24th; “Love Of My Life,” from the Clearwater show on June 25th; and “Barracuda,” from July 22nd in Fort Myers, Florida. Check it out here.

Recently, Nancy Wilson – Ann's sister and also a member of Heart – released her first solo album. Called You and Me , the album contains 12 tracks, the last of which is a tribute to the legendary Eddie Van Halen .
